Reproductive Health: Herbal Medicine for Improving Sperm Count and Motility

If your sperm count is low or you have other fertility issues, dietary supplements could be helpful in increasing sperm counts and improving motility/morphology/motility as well as increasing testosterone levels/blockage reduction.


One such supplement is maca root, an herb native to Central Peru that one study indicates can increase sperm count and motility by taking this for four months.




Ashwagandha:


Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that may help the body deal with stress more effectively. Its mood-enhancing potential creates a peaceful state and reduces anxiety, depression, irritability fluid retention and low back pain.

Studies indicate that taking ashwagandha may increase testosterone and improve sperm count in males with low levels, though more research needs to be conducted in this area. Ashwagandha contains bioactive compounds called withanolides that work to regulate your body's stress response and inflammation, providing relief in supplement capsules, gummies, powder and tea form. When buying from health food stores or online vendors be sure to purchase only from those that follow good manufacturing practices and test their products for any contaminants that might exist in them.


Antioxidants:


Antioxidants are a group of chemicals designed to combat unstable molecules known as free radicals. Free radicals lack all their electrons, meaning that they steal electrons from other molecules causing them to break down and fragment. Antioxidants provide an essential natural "off switch" for these unstable molecules by stabilizing and stopping any chain reactions that might damage DNA, cell membranes or other parts of the herbal products company in pakistan.

Maca root:


Peruvian maca root has long been recognized for its ability to act as an aphrodisiac, with some men using it to increase libido. Although one study reported an increase in sexual desire after taking maca, more research needs to be conducted as this evidenced may have come from only small samples and requires further confirmation by other studies.


Maca may help to increase energy levels and stamina. Some athletes use maca to help increase endurance and performance - one study discovered that taking maca extract improved performance in a 40-kilometer time trial!


Maca is generally well tolerated without side effects; taking larger amounts for extended periods may cause mild stomach upset; however, most individuals do not experience other adverse reactions from maca supplements.


Native peoples in the Andes often consume maca roots (Lepidium meyenii) as part of their daily diet, boiling it to remove its bitter components before grinding into powder form and taking daily. Maca is believed to enhance online herbal products and is taken by both men and women for this reason.


Coenzyme Q10:


Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is an antioxidant found throughout the body, particularly the heart and skeletal muscles. It provides energy for cell growth and function while protecting from oxidative damage caused by oxygen free radicals. Ubiquinone supplements may help treat conditions such as heart failure or chest pain (angina), as well as helping prevent migraine headaches.


Studies suggest that supplemented coenzyme Q10 may improve sperm quality and fertility in men with low sperm counts by decreasing oxidative damage to eggs and sperm, as well as improving existing sperm function. This could potentially improve fertility outcomes among these men.


Ubiquinone may work by supporting normal endothelial function, which promotes blood vessel relaxation and inhibits blood clot formation. Furthermore, studies have demonstrated its efficacy against Alzheimer's disease-associated compounds while also potentially treating high cholesterol, cancer, muscular dystrophy Parkinson's disease and herbal medicine for male fertility.
