Harmonizing Body and Mind: Herbal Treatments for Premature Ejaculation

Premature Ejaculation (PE) is a sexual disorder that can create emotional and sexual strain in relationships, and even reduce fertility. While not curable, PE can be treated using natural methods like eating healthily and delaying PE techniques.

Psyllium seed husk is an anti-vata herb that can help alleviate PE symptoms, as well as providing relief from constipation and excessive masturbation.

Ashwagandha:

Premature ejaculation occurs when semen is released too soon during orgasm, making sex less intimate and potentially causing frustration or anxiety for some men. Natural treatments can help decrease early release of semen and prolong orgasm - this includes supplements, practices and products applied directly to the penis such as ointments or creams applied directly onto it.

Ashwagandha is an immune stimulating herb that enhances sexual performance by increasing sexual stamina/vigor, increasing sperm count, and improving fertility in men. Additionally, it acts as an effective aphrodisiac and anti-depressant, as well as being used for constipation relief, masturbation control, and general debility post disease recovery, nightfall’s, loss of appetite as well as Psyllium Seed Husk (Irvingia Glabra) has anti-vata properties to prevent premature ejaculations in men.

Tribulus Terrestris:

Tribulus Terrestris or Gokshura is one of the most effective herbal treatments for premature ejaculation in men, working to increase sexual activity while simultaneously increasing libido in both genders and treating conditions such as erectile dysfunction.

Tribulus contains a phytochemical called protodioscin that the body converts into dehydroepiandrosterone, increasing male hormone levels and helping increase sperm count and improve sexual performance in males, though more research needs to be conducted in this regard.

Studies on laboratory animals have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory benefits of Tribulus to help prevent kidney stones, Men Health Kit and increase urination while decreasing calcium accumulation in kidneys.

Ginseng:

If you are experiencing PE and home remedies such as nitric oxide supplements or Meyer lemons aren't providing relief, consulting a doctor might be beneficial in diagnosing an underlying health issue or suggesting behavioral therapies to address your situation.

Ginseng (Panax ginseng) may help to reduce PE and enhance sexual function. A study published by the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology demonstrated this with taking daily ginseng capsules resulting in improved erections; other herbs that may reduce PE include Radix Herba Asari which has local anesthetic effects and Syzygium aromaticum which causes proteins to precipitate from the glans.

Passionflower:

Passionflower (Pass flora incarnate) may help reduce anxiety by increasing levels of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA - this chemical acts to block out excitatory neurotransmitters that cause excitement, producing a soothing effect.

Clove is an effective herb for preventing premature ejaculation by increasing blood flow to the penis and prolonging erection times. Additionally, clove can enhance endurance during sexual performance.

Licorice (Morus Alba) is an ideal herb for treating PE because it balances out vata dosha in the body, soothing constipation, loss of appetite and weak vision symptoms while helping with constipation, premature graying of hairs and insomnia.

Saw Palmetto:

Saw palmetto (Serenoa ripens) can bind and block androgen hormones found in men, helping to balance them out and inhibiting an enzyme which breaks down testosterone and reduces its efficacy in terms of erectile function.

Studies have demonstrated that saw palmetto supplements can be effective in managing symptoms associated with BPH, such as frequent and difficult urination as well as urine dribbling. Furthermore, taking this herb may also lower PSA levels - used by healthcare providers as an early diagnostic indicator of prostate cancer.

This herb comes in the form of tablets, capsules, tinctures and extracts and may also be combined with other treatments like sexual therapy and behavioral therapies for optimal effectiveness.

Yohimbe:

Western Africa-native plant bark has long been revered as an effective way of increasing sexual desire and stimulating libido. Yohimbine extract, found within some prescription drugs for treating erectile dysfunction, has even been utilized as an herbal V2 Ajmali.

Yohimbe works by blocking alpha-2 adrenergic receptors activated by norepinephrine, thereby increasing adrenaline and blood flow to the penis, aiding erection formation.

Yohimbe can also be found as an ingredient in commercial herbal supplements under different brand names like Aphrodite, Yohimbe (Corynanthe yohimbe), Yohimbe and Quebrachine (Pausinystalia yohimbe). Sometimes combined with dadder seed (Tusizi), it can help treat nocturnal emissions and early ejaculation.
