5 Foods That Purify the Blood

The liver, kidneys and lungs are key organs in purifying the blood. They remove toxic waste while producing nutrient-rich blood for your body to use.



Lifestyle and eating habits that promote blood purification include regular exercise, eating a balanced diet and getting adequate rest - these will all keep the body functioning at its optimal level and support healthy blood purification processes.

Water

Blood has many functions in the body, including transporting oxygen to all organs in need, eliminating waste products, helping regulate body temperature and pH levels, and carrying killer cells to fight pathogens. If liver or kidney damage occurs, purifying of the blood cannot take place effectively and needs to be performed manually instead.

Therefore, one effective way of purifying blood is staying hydrated by drinking sufficient amounts of water daily and drinking green tea and coffee containing antioxidants to strengthen liver cells and reduce chances of liver disease or fatty liver. Turmeric

Curcumin, the active component in turmeric, offers many potential health advantages. Sulforaphane, lutein and zeaxanthin -- three isothiocyanate found in broccoli sprouts -- can promote eye health by protecting against age-related macular degeneration and cataracts. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has long been used as an ingredient in salad dressing and sauce recipes, and more recently has become an effective wellness remedy. Some researchers believe that drinking ACV - whether pasteurized or raw -- could help with blood sugar, digestion issues and more.

Studies published in BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies from 2021 demonstrate that drinking apple cider vinegar (ACV) can significantly decrease fasting blood glucose and HbA1C levels, both indicators for diabetes. While its exact mechanism remains unknown, ACV could potentially help by reducing post-meal blood sugar spikes. It should not be consumed full strength as this could erode tooth enamel; rather it should be diluted before drinking and only kharish treatment.
